Founder and CEO
Jim's work focuses on helping leaders and companies move forward with clarity, integrity, and impact.
He works at the intersection of trust, risk, ethics, and innovation. Through Eastward and his advisory roles, he help executives build strategic models that connect enterprise risk, ESG, culture, and performance. The goal is simple: turn insight into action and action into outcomes that matter.
Jim is a two-time best-selling author, with Trust in Action and Risk in Action reaching that status on Amazon. He previously served as a Chief Sustainability Officer and now serve as a board member and strategic advisor to organizations that want to be innovators, act with integrity, and earn trust through real outcomes, making money and making an impact.
Jim's superpower is synthesis. He listens for the dots others overlook, then connect them in ways that create meaning from complexity and clarity from noise.
Outside of work, he is a dad to Sawyer and Lawson, a traveler who believes the world is the greatest classroom, and co-author of GeoKids: Fifty States on School Breaks, an Amazon #1 bestseller that started as a family adventure.
His mission is simple. He helps people and businesses do and be good.
