David has extensive experience in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and waste prevention policy. He currently serves as CEO of Interchange 360 and Interchange Recycling, overseeing stewardship programs for petroleum and automotive-related products in the US and Canada. Previously, he was the Provincial Manager for Solid Waste Prevention Policy and EPR Programs in British Columbia, where he served as the Statutory Decision Maker for EPR plans in the province.

David has also contributed to EPR policy development through leadership roles in key organizations. He is the Vice Chair of the Conference on Canadian Stewardship, past president of the Global Product Stewardship Council, and served as Co-Chair of the Canadian Council of Ministers of Environment, where he helped develop the Canada-wide EPR Action Plan. His expertise and experience make him well-equipped to guide discussions on compliance and circularity in the petroleum and automotive sectors.
